Open studios is an initiative of the Learning and Teaching Portfolio which gives Academic Staff of the College of Business and Law a space and opportunity to create their own content with the assistance of the specialist staff.

Direct to canvas video recordings (Welcome Video)
Need help making a welcome video or any video direct to Canvas? Open Studio is available to help you create the solution you need. We will provide a laptop computer setup with webcam and optimised studio lighting for an easy to use, professional looking video that can then be uploaded directly to Canvas. Technical assistance can be made available to you from our production staff at any stage.
Screen capture video recordings
We can help you create a tutorial or instructional video by recording your computer screen and voice. We will set you up with a laptop computer with screen capture software & webcam available. This is an ideal way to create dynamic tutorials or clear online instructions that you can upload directly to Canvas. Technical assistance can be made available to you from our production staff at any stage.
Headshots photography
Having your photograph taken shouldn’t be a burden, duty, or irritation. It should be about representing you at your best! We are able to produce a professional head and shoulders photograph of you for use on a professional website, social media or LMS.
Podcast recordings
We can assist with the audio recording of a Podcast. A podcast is a one-off or episodic audio series which a listener can stream or download similar in style to that of a radio show presentation.
