Employers are looking for potential employees to have more than a qualification, they are also looking for specific attributes (generic skills) before they will consider hiring them.

The Business Council of Australia has developed “Being Work Ready – A Guide To What Employers Want” to assist students and those supporting them to better understand what ‘work readiness’ means from a business perspective.
