Plagiarism is a form of cheating in assessment where a person takes someone else’s work or ideas and passes them off as their own.
RMIT university defines academic integrity as the ‘honest presentation of your academic work. It means acknowledging the work of others while developing your own insights, knowledge and ideas.’ (RMIT University 2018 a para.1).

Resources
Students must acknowledge all the sources of information they have used in their assignments using the Harvard referencing style. Share the following Easy Cite link with your students: http://www.lib.rmit.edu.au/easy-cite/so that they correctly reference quotes and paraphrasing and correctly cite information sources in their reference list.
