The biggest trigger to change and “Next” at RMIT for 2018 has been the transition to the new LMS, Canvas. This has brought new and exciting methods for course design and delivery. With a trend of digitally enabled rich learning experiences, it’s a very exciting space for students, teachers education designers and developers!

The College of Business Learning and Teaching Portfolio has responded to this with an agile, service-oriented working culture to support the enhancement, design and development of academic staff, their programs and their courses.
At this year’s Showcase, we’re exhibiting what’s coming next and some of best example’s we’ve seen this year.
We’re showcasing the new Learning and Teaching toolbox, Canvas infographics for assessment feedback and how we have integrated the Canvas Uplift elements into the new VBE Canvas template.
RMIT Library is showcasing how to access and curate Open Education Resources, web accessibility with the new A11y LTI and the Leganto Reading List LTI and how they can be embedded in your course.
RMIT Studios will be present to demonstrate the RMIT Technology Roadmap and the new LTI process.
The Learning Analytics team has a range of new initiatives for academics. Take this opportunity to talk to them about the Canvas Course Insights reporting tool being developed, the Pulse survey trials and the Program constellation maps.
